Phew! There seems to be a "sunshiny" party going on in Blogger lately. How fun! I am so grateful to Julia, Sarah, and Abigail for giving me a Sunshine Award!!! Julia's questions:
1. What is your favorite chore?
Cleaning the bathroom. It sounds awful, but I find the sight of sparkling mirror and squeaky-clean bathtub very cheerful!
2. What is your favorite book?
That’s not fair! Can I give you 4? :) God's Word, “The Hiding Place” by Corrie ten Boom, “The Basket of Flowers” by Christoph von Schmid, and "The Family Daughter" by Sarah Bryant.
3. Do you like making pies?
Yes, but it’s not my favorite thing to make. I prefer making frosted cakes! Although sugar pie is very easy and delicious!
4. Have you ever been on a train? And if so, where were you going?
No, I haven’t... We intended on taking the train when we thought of moving across the country, but the Lord's plans changed wonderfully!
5. Would you rather be cold or hot?
Good question! I think I would rather be hot, because when you are hot you can drink iced tea and swim in the river! :)
6. What is your least favorite chore?
Once I make up my mind to it, nothing is too bad, but my least favorite chore would probably be shovelling snow or ... cleaning our dog's "business." Haha!
7. Have you ever gotten a ripped up letter in the mail? If so, who was it from?
I don’t remember getting a ripped letter, but I once received a beaten-up package from my aunt. Don’t worry, the present inside survived!
8. What is your favorite birthday that you ever had, and why?
Definitely my 14th birthday. No doubts about that! We visited a 1800’s working village, with old flour mills, broom making businesses, etc. Then, we dined at a replica of what a true Victorian restaurant would be like. It was amazing!!! Thank You Jesus for giving me such a beautiful day with my family!
9. Did you like the last meal you ate and what was it?
I loved it! It was shrimp Scampi fettuccine. How mom, can you make such delicious dishes!?
10. When was the last time you laughed and why?
Just a few minutes ago when my dad dipping his huge fingers in the bowl of peanut butter muffin batter... Sorry dad, I just had to say it!
11. What was the first thing you did this morning?
Opened the blinds and let the absent sun shine on my face! And I also read from "Each New Day" by Corrie ten Boom and sleepily whispered the Scripture verses that I am memorizing. :)
Abigail's questions:
1. What is your most used article of clothing?
Either my camisoles, or my half-circle denim skirt!
2.What is your favorite quote?

3. If you wear nail polish, what is your favorite color?
I don't wear nail polish... I grew weary of spending time painting my nails when it would chip off the next day... :P
4. If you had to choose, would you rather read a book, or watch a movie?
Read a book! It is as having a 360° television in your mind to imagine what you're reading!
5. Do you have a favorite hobby?
I think I have too many! My favourite is crocheting or cross-stitching (I finally learned how!)
6. Can you play an instrument? If so, what is it?
I can't... Does playing on my grandpa's organ (piano) when I was younger counts? :)
7. What is your favorite movie?
The Book of Esther (2013).
8. Have you ever made soap?
Yes! I do it often.
9. What did you do before you read this blog post?
Listened to mom tell about a great blessing that just happened to her!
10. What is your favorite color?
Pink.
11. What is the best thing you ever did?
(Besides loving and accepting Jesus in my life) Mounting and trotting on horseback! That or moving out of a crazy province... :)
Sarah's questions:
1. How long have you had a blog?
It has been 2 ½ months! It's still a youngster. :)
2. What was the last thing you did before reading this blog post?
Eat supper.
3. What is your most favorite way to do your hair and why?
Braid them the night before while they are damp so that it makes them curly, and then either wear them fully down, or with a half up-do. :)
4. What is your favorite food?
Sushi and chocolate mousse!
5. Do you like cheese?
Uh-uh, no cheese for this gal! It's been 11 years since I last ate some, and I am aiming for another 11+ years!
6. What is your most favorite bible verse and why?
Matthew 10:19 "But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given in that same hour what you shall speak." A year ago we had to deal with a very harsh administration, in which I had to be interviewed. I didn't have a clue how I would handle this (what if I said something wrong?) and the night before while tossing and turning, the Lord told me this verse. It was beyond reassuring to know that He was going to speak for me. I didn't even have to think, much less worry about it!
7. Why did you choose your blog name?
Many verses inspired me, such as, Psalm 40:16 "Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: let such as love Thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified." or Deuteronomy 4:29, Job 5:8-9, Matthew 6:33, and many others!
8. What is your most favorite time of the day and why?
I love the air of hope that morning brings! To cuddle in a blanket with the rays of sunshine coming through the window, in silence, and read from the Scriptures... :)
9. What is your most favorite kind of cookie?
Peanut butter, raisin, oatmeal, and chocolate chip! Yes, that's in just one cookie!
10. How often do you play outside?
Normally everyday in the summer, but now the winter cold has kept me inside for much too long!
11. What is your most favorite thing you have ever made and why?
Crème brulée! Don't let the fancy name fool you, it's as easy as pour, mix, and bake! It's tastes ridiculously good, and it makes people think you've spent hours on it! ;)
